A town of leisure. Salsomaggiore is a spa town or, better said, a town of leisure. Located on the hills next to the via Emilia and in the proximity of Fidenza, in the province of Parma. From the beginning of the 1900s Salsomaggiore has been a place of refuge for those strained by modern life, in need to find their inner equilibrium. Here the individual is able to receive physical treatments and relax while engaging in cultural or sports activities. - Palazzo dei Congressi of Salsomaggiore Terme: The Palazzo dei Congressi of Salsomaggiore Terme is able to host congresses, meetings, cultural and artistic manifestations, various shows and spectacles which will take place in the elegant Liberty Halls or the modern Europa auditorium. The auditorium is able to seat 750 people comfortably. The palazzo is situated in a wonderful park which includes a swimming pool and several tenniscourts. The over a hundred hotels in Salsomaggiore are able to host 4000 guests. More then a 1000 beds are in 4 star hotels.
The Palazzo includes 17 halls which can seat from 50 to 750 people; an exposition space of 3000m2 and two free parking areas which are only 150 and 180 meters away. - Palacotonella: The Palacotonella of Salsomaggiore Terme is situated in the periphery of the town and is able to hold 3500 seats. There is air-conditioning present throughout the building. The space is set up to hold concerts, sport competitions, conventions and congresses. The floor is Canadian maple which suits sport activities best. There are seven dressing rooms, an infirmary, a work out area, an office space, a bar, a control room and a large parking area.
Further services for non-sporting events include shower- and dressing rooms, landlines when requested, generator, wardrobe, press room and last but not least the aid of a fully focused staff which will assist you in every phase of the organization of your event.
